History

The Risborough Art Gallery was originally bought in 1983 by David Aldus to exhibit his own work. This proved an enormously successful formula for 17 years for David, who then decided to take a back seat and let the next generation take over.

New managers, Steven and Paola, decided to modernise the Gallery interior to move with the times.  New artists were also added and the Gallery introduced a new focus on limited editions.

Relaxed Environment

If you’re looking for quality artwork - rather than mass-produced prints that can be found adorning thousands of walls across the country - then Risborough Art is the place for you.

You’re free to browse at your leisure; either to simply enjoy the latest exhibition, or to look for a specific item.  Gallery Managers, Steven and Paola, are always on hand however, to offer expert assistance should you require it.

Stock

The Gallery specialises in original fine art, and high quality limited editions

The art on offer is extremely high quality; suitable for the discerning collector after an object of beauty, or someone buying art as an investment.

Collections at the Gallery change monthly.  These include a number of limited editions as well as originals by specially selected artists, all of whom have previously had work accepted by major, prestigious art societies.

Further details on the artists who work exclusively for Risborough Arts can be found in the Originals section of this website.

Quality

As a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild, you can be secure in the knowledge that you are dealing with a reputable organisation; one that is suitable for any specialised restoration work or commissions that you require.

Should you have any enquiries about the specific skills and qualifications of staff members, please do not hesitate to contact Steven or Paola at Risborough Arts.
